The City Parks Department is responsible for managing 40 cemeteries in the Cape Town municipal area. Somerset West Cemetery is a peaceful area that honours the deceased and provides the community with a green space for remembrance. The Somerset West Cemetery spans 5.5 hectares.

By special appointment on Sundays.
Cemeteries are able to operate on certain public holidays, please contact the facility to find out more.
